    What is a Job Profile?

A Job Profile contains all the skills and education you selected as part of you background. It can contain hundreds of skills. The more skills and education you can match the more jobs will match your background.

You did not select any education or skills!

For job listings you need to select your education and skills from JORIS first. Click on Education or Certifications and Licenses or Skills to open JORIS. Keep drilling down until you reach the checkboxes. Select your degree(s), certification(s), license(s) and skills. Then hit the "Get Matching Jobs" button.

KRAZOOM has two modes depending on what you would like to do:

    1) Not a job seeker, just curious: On KRAZOOM's home page select your education and maybe a few skills from JORIS. Your selections will not be stored. This mode works best for students who are working towards a degree and want to know what skills and certifications/licenses employers expect after they graduate. Since KRAZOOM lists the requirements for each job, students can get a sense of what employers expect beyond the degree.

    2) Job seeker looking for employment: You will want to create an account on KRAZOOM. Here is why: As a job seeker you are trying to find jobs that match your skills and education. Fact is, that you have many skills (everyone has!). KRAZOOM does NOT use keywords to locate jobs for you. Instead KRAZOOM provides JORIS, a list of job requirements frequently used by employers in job postings.

As a job seeker you want to match as many JORIS requirements as possible. The more you can select, the more jobs KRAZOOM will find for you. As a rule of thumb, a recent high school student will select about 100 JORIS requirements. An experienced professional will select between 300 and 500 JORIS requirements. To make this a one-time effort on your part, KRAZOOM stores your selections in a personal Job Profile in your account. KRAZOOM uses your Job Profile to match new job postings to it as they are posted by employers. All that's left for you to do is to review your matches daily.
